  1. Light to Night Festival 2023 (January 6–26, 2023)

Yes! It’s back! Bringing life back into the Civic District, Singapore Art Week is finally here with an exciting lineup of day-to-night immersive art experiences. Themed “Here and Now,” Light to Night 2023 features installations by Singaporean artist Dawn Ng, a festival market with around 50 booths of arts and crafts, a food and beverage station, and multitudes of workshops that will nurture the artist in you!

  1. Museum Roundtable! (January 6 to February 3, 2023)

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with the Museum Roundtable as it makes a return with new red packet designs inspired by the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Rabbit! In its ninth edition, aside from learning about the heritage, galleries, and traditions of the participating museums, you can also collect the exclusively designed red packets at the 39 museums joining the 2023 Museum Roundtable Lunar Year Hongbao Campaign.

  1. Aliwal Urban Arts Festival 2023 (January 14, 2023)

In its seventh edition, the Aliwal Urban Festival spotlights Singapore’s urban and visual arts scene. Enjoy the retail therapy offered by local artists’ pop-up markets or groove into urban dance and music with rock bands and R&B musicians, like Astronauts, performing on stage. The event will last until midnight at the Aliwal Arts Center. Don’t miss this chance to see AAC getting a façade makeover as graffiti artists refresh their look with live graffiti painting sessions.

An ultimate art collector and enthusiast’s dream come true. Identified as this decade’s biggest art fair to be launched in the Asia Pacific, ART SG in Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center features more than 150 international galleries presented in a line-up of impressive art installations, experimental film, and interesting panel discussions.

  1. We Will Rock You (January 5-22, 2023)

One of the most anticipated productions arrives in Singapore, bringing the iconic hits of music royalty Queen. The musical transports you to the sounds of the Queen’s songs, such as We are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under the Pressure, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, and many other phenomenal songs performed by the Queen. Be prepared to be in awe with the fabulous costume and stage design set in a futuristic world where music is forbidden—and rock music, to be specific, is unknown to people.
