Rihanna Hypes Super Bowl LVII, Drops New Limited-Edition Savage X Fenty Football-Inspired Collection

Sharing is caring!

Rihanna just gave fans another reason to watch the Super Bowl Halftime Show a month before her much-anticipated performance by releasing a new merchandise collection.

This is probably the only sports update we can all relate to: aside from performing at this year’s Super Bowl LVII, Rihanna also released a limited-edition Game Day collection for her loungewear brand Savage X.

On the first Saturday of this year, Rihanna teased both football and music fans with a cheeky “We heard there’s a football game?” post accompanied by an image of her sporting the new merch. The collection featured football-themed styles, and it was officially released the next day.

Tagged as Game Day, Savage X Fenty launched a 17-piece collection that includes hoodies, sweatpants, cropped varsity jerseys, tube tops, hats, beanies, cotton boxers, and a versatile bandana. Celebrating America’s favorite sport, one of the highlights of the collection is the LVII Cropped Jersey and LVII Hoodie and Sweatpants set that are clad in cookie brown and black caviar. Another standout is the LVII Surprise Tee, which, as the name suggests, comes with a secret surprise Rihanna graphic when pulled up over the head.

But Rihanna’s signature, the Property of Fenty statement stylishly adorned across all merch and the white graphic tee that comes with the most important message: “Rihanna Concert Interrupted by a Football Game, Weird But Whatever,” is probably one of the most iconic in Savage X’s latest drop that truly represents the real MVP of this year’s game.

For those who are in Los Angeles, here’s an exciting treat: Savage X Fenty will open a three-day pop-up where you can purchase the Savage X Fenty Game Day capsule in person. That’s from January 27 to 29. Fans who are unable to attend in person can still purchase the collection (which is unisex and available in sizes XXS to 4X) online and in retail stores. The price range for the limited-edition Savage X Fenty Game Day collection starts from $24.95 to $89.95 for Xtra VIP members. For non-VIPs, the price ranges from $32.95 to $112.95. Feel free to take a closer look at the Game Day capsule at the Savage X Fenty official website here.
