Sharing is caring!

After turning up the heat, Netflix announces that the hit reality dating series Single’s Inferno – which has dominated the Global Netflix Top 10 – would be getting a second season.

More relationship drama is sure to surface as the hit Korean reality show, Single’s Inferno, returns for another season. In a press release, Netflix announced that in its second season, fans can expect hotter and sexier moments as a new group of singles will embark on a quest for a romantic relationship.

In the teaser uploaded by the renowned streaming site, Netflix entices the audience with an inferno that is fiercer, bolder, flashier, steamier, and wilder. Single’s Inferno became such a massive hit that it topped Netflix charts in Singapore, North Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and Malaysia. For three consecutive weeks, it has also ranked in the Global Netflix Top 10 for the Non-English TV List – marking the fourth spot as its peak.

The Hottest Inferno Returns for Season 2

Single’s Inferno is a reality show that follows the lives of passionate individuals who are very much motivated to find a partner and live up to their definition of ‘paradise .’In this series, single participants stay on an island where they get to meet potential friends, lovers, as well enemies, with whom they will be living within the given period of time. Should they get successful in finding love on such a deserted island, couples are then later on sent to ‘Paradise’ for a night where they can enjoy a lavish hotel stay and get to know deeper their partner – by learning more personal details to nurture their budding romance.

The first season of Single’s Inferno was first aired on December 18, 2021, with all 8 episodes released on January 8 of this year. It was participated by 12 attractive singles – which included Song Ji A, Kim Hyeon Joong, Moon Se Hoon, Seong Min Ji, An Yea Won, Choi Si Hun, Kang So Yeon, Oh Jin Taek, Kim Jun Sik, Shin Ji Yeon, Kim Su Min, and Cha Hyun Seung – who have become global celebrities after the season’s finale.

Among the many reality series launched, Single’s Inferno stood among the rest thanks to its setting. In this reality show, participants are forced to fend for themselves, forage for food, and look for water sources for survival. The only way to escape such an inferno is to hit it off with another participant and become a couple.

With the explosive global response of the audience after the conclusion of the first season, fans are already anticipating the new recruits who will be participating in the program. Single’s Inferno 2 will still be crafted by the same creative team with creatives Kim Jae-won and Kim Na-hyun on board with directors Ji Hyun-sook and Lee Jeong-hwa. Kim Su-a will serve as the producer with the collaboration of Netflix, Shijak Company, and JTBC.

With a promise of a hotter and sexier drama, many are now excited about how the new group of islanders would fall into tension, competition, drama, jealousy, and steamy moments before escaping into the couple’s paradise. As of now, there’s no statement yet on the release date of Single’s Inferno Season 2.
