KENZO marks its 4th release under the Parisian house’s FW22 galore by new Creative Director NIGO.

Whether you’re looking for casual or formal wear, you will definitely find pieces that suit your style with KENZO’s latest collection. Titled ‘East Meets West’, the Paris-based fashion house presented Drop 4 of its series of smaller collections throughout the season.

Set to join KENZO’s Fall/Winter 2022 Collection, the latest capsule unveiled by the French luxury fashion house founded in 1970 by renowned Japanese designer Kenzo Takada features Western influences and souvenir embroideries throughout—including the bold, floral Hana Dots print, which has been first showcased at the Galerie Vivienne since its runway debut in Paris. It can be recalled that the brand decided early this year to take an unprecedented approach to launching its collection helmed by Artistic Director NIGO.

NIGO creatively devised a new way of thoughtfully presenting their wardrobe: through a continuously unfolding story punctuated by monthly limited editions. By keeping up such a philosophy, a unique mix of prints featuring daring and borderless fashion was born—a natural blend of Japanese influence into the Parisian lifestyle. Staying true to its Asian and Japanese roots and combining them with the aesthetic and functionality of the West, KENZO released a phenomenal collection that boasts elegant tailoring and heavily focuses on fitted knitwear, high necklines, and miniskirts.

Veering away from the classic streetwear mostly found in Western shirts, KENZO’s collection comes in embroidered varsity jackets and silk pouches. NIGO further explores how diversity can beautifully come together and celebrate culture, thereby highlighting the unique Asian heritage influence and European fashion that shaped KENZO’s DNA.

Included in KENZO’s Drop 4 are pieces that exude Japanese and Parisian culture: satin bomber jackets with embroidered details, biker jackets, western-inspired skirts, kimono wrap tops, simple cargo pants, tailored and puffer coats, hoodies, and souvenir-style bags. Given focal in the collection is the Hana Dots print, which can be seen across coordinating sets, cardigans, and denim – appearing in shades of olive green, navy blue, and sky blue.

Explore the variety of colors and styles available in the latest Urban Drop 4 by KENZO’s FW22. Don’t miss the craftsmanship and impeccable quality that are the hallmarks of the renowned fashion house. Visit stores in Singapore and across Asia now!
