Sharing is caring!

As Covid-19 accelerates and continues to wreak havoc around the world, big and small events have been canceled or postponed. From international sports events or major concerts to simple meetings in the office or typical gathering with friends. Everyone can feel the impact as we continue to fight through the pandemic.

The raging coronavirus has affected all industries and verticals. Aside from the financial impact it had brought to businesses, it robbed all the personal and could be once-in-a-lifetime moments of some individuals. Special moments like school graduations, proms, 1st or 18th birthdays, 50th wedding anniversaries or most-awaited weddings that had been planned for years.

Alongside the rising death toll, coronavirus has stopped life as many of us know it in its tracks. With gatherings being discouraged and travel restrictions in place, many dreams need to be canceled or were forced to be postponed. Talking about special moments that’s been robbed, We can take weddings as the best example.

Wedding – Not only that it requires time to prepare, but it also involves financial and emotional investments. Unlike other occasions that have been foreseen to be somehow affected by the virus, weddings with a minimum of 6 months preparation had not seen this coming.

We can feel the frustration and struggle one must go through to chose whether to continue with the event amidst the virus situation or not. It is indeed one of the feelings we wouldn’t want to have by not being able to experience the BIG DAY and once in a lifetime moment.

Coronavirus indeed has its way to ruin one’s dream wedding, but some people cant be stopped by saying, “I do.”

A powerful wedding photo posted by Vicens Forn in San Francisco, California, has inspired many people. The picture of the bride walking in the aisle with her father on her side, holding her hand had touched many people’s lives. What’s more capturing are the photos printed and placed on the bench for the supposed attendees, which we can assume as their families, close friends, and loved ones.

Forn posted. “The bride’s entrance holding her father’s hand, yesterday I was very lucky to be the photographer of this wedding in San Francisco, a different but especially emotional wedding, let’s not forget that life goes on. Congratulations Emily & Parris !!!”

The photo has garnered a lot of beautiful reactions and considered to be one of the good things that are happening during this difficult time. Their families and loved ones might not be in full presence, but they were able to find ways of pushing through and making it to an almost-missed milestone.

It may take time before anyone can quantify the loss of beautiful human experiences that this outbreak has brought, and even then- it will be an imperfect measure. In the meantime, we will always try to look for a piece of hope and shed of light amid the coronavirus situation.
